The closest bus stop to Forest Road House is listed as "howe close" and can be seen on the right hand side where the blue line forms a circle. The following bus routes flow through here (Click to see timetables) numbers 64/64A. As I mentioned above its also only a short walk (or bus ride using 64/64A) to Tescos where their is a bus stop with many more routes flowing through it. From the "Greenstead Road Tesco" stop you can access the numbers 62, 64/64A, 74/74B, 76.

There is a bus that runs from Stanstead Airport to Colchester Town Centre and Essex University.

Trains

There are three train stations in Colchester the main one is known as "Colchester North Station", the one near the centre of town is known as "Colchester Town" which has alot less trains going to it and finally a station know as "The Hythe" which although closest to the greanstead area very few trains stop here.
