By signing this Agreement, I confirm that I am in full-time education, that I have read and understood the sample Tenancy Agreement on the website, that I have read and understood the privacy policy, and also that I have read, understand and agree to the following:

Reserved rooms will be held for 15 days from and including the day on which the holding deposit has been taken by Millennium Investments 2000 Ltd (the “15-Day Period”). During the 15-Day Period, the applicant needs to sign the Tenancy Agreement in front of a witness and return the signed Tenancy Agreement in order to ensure reservation of the room.

After the 15-Day Period, any reservation may be deemed cancelled unless the signed Tenancy Agreement has been received.

In the event of cancellation, the holding deposit may not be refunded. If we intend to withhold your holding deposit from you, we will always notify you in writing of this intention, and the reason for this, within 7 days of the day on which such intention arises.

On the grant of an Assured Shorthold Tenancy to you the holding deposit will be immediately credited against the rent due under the Tenancy.

Reasonable endeavours will be taken to ensure that you are given a room which fits the Preference you have chosen in the application form, but at times it may not be possible to match your requirements due to availability.

All tenancies commence on 1 September, unless applied for after that date for that same academic year in which case the date of application after 1 September will be the commencement date of the Tenancy Agreement.

Millennium Investments 2000 Ltd reserves the right to share any of the above information with the University of Essex.
